Daily Healthy Tips For Better Living!
Are you interested in adding a plethora of daily healthy tips into your day to day routine? Of course you are why else would you be here! Creating a daily routine can benefit you in a variety of ways. The reason why this is, is because you body LOVES routines. The human body runs on routines whether it’s your stomach rumbling every morning because it’s hungry or your body getting tired when you lay down in your bed for bed time. Things like this signal your body to feel a certain way, and this can be abused by creating a daily routine! For example if you set an alarm for 6am, but you usually wake up at 8am eventually your body will get into the habit of waking up at 6am. I encourage to try these tips out to see how they work for you!
Don’t Skip Breakfast
If you skip breakfast you are already putting your body into a disadvantage. The morning is arguably to most important time you SHOULD be eating. After a long 8 hours of inactivity your body is going to want to eat and by skipping breakfast you are not allowing your body to produce energy. Some healthy tips; always start off with eggs as eggs contain a lot of protein and good cholesterol. Just make sure to skip a yoke or two!
Make Water Your New Best Friend
Water! What can I say about water, besides DRINK IT! Drinking water daily can help you flush out toxins from your body through sweat and urine. This reduces the risk of kidney stones and UTI’S. It is recommended to consume roughly about a gallon of water a day. You can try having some fun with this; for example carrying around a water gallon with goals written on it for certain hours of the day! If you’d like a little more flavor you can squeeze some lemon juice into your glass or just make some natural iced tea!
Mind Over Matter
This one is a really important one for many reasons. A healthy diet always starts with a healthy mind set. Kick negativity out the window because we don’t need it here! Thinking positively will allow you to live your life without any problems because with a positive mentality anything is possible! Yes anything is possible if you put your mind to it so get going, your new happy life is waiting!
Weight Training Before Cardio
Most people have the same workout routine, you show up do your 30 minute cardio then you start your core workout. But what if I told you doing it the other way around may be more beneficial? The reasoning behind this is the fact that lifting weights doesn’t use up your glycogen or any form of carbohydrates. This allows you to have more energy throughout your workout!
Okay, this one should be pretty obvious. Smoking can be detrimental to your health in many ways. If you ARE a smoker, try to break this habit immediately. You are not doing yourself any favors by continuing to smoke. I know it might be easier said than done but, if you are having problems quitting it’s okay there are many resources available to you like Nicotine gum, Nicotine patches, AA meetings etc.
Better Sleep = Better Health
You’re probably wondering what daily healthy tips can you add into your sleep schedule? Well for starters if you have trouble sleeping it might be a variety of reasons why. Refer to our previous blog about how to achieve better deep sleep, as it may help you find your problem. Sleep affects your body more than you think because if aren’t getting your rest then your body wouldn’t have much energy now will it? Make sure you have comfortable pillows and a sturdy mattress. Also try to go to sleep at the same time every night.
