Popcorn

These microwavable treats are not only tasty, they carry a lot of fiber which is great for energy! Popcorn is perfect for on the go and low in calories.

 

Bananas and Peanut Butter

This dynamic duo is perfect for carbohydrates and protein. A whole banana and a tablespoon of peanut butter will be an appropriate snack serving.

 

Dried Fruit

Compared to fresh fruit, dried fruit gives you just a sprinkle of sweetness and fiber. Try adding some nuts in! Nuts may make you feel full with its good fats and nutrient, perfect combination with dry fruit. Do not eat too many dried fruit or nuts though, an ounce of each will be a perfect afternoon pick me up.

 

Cereal Bars

Why not grab breakfast on the go with cereal bars. Cereal bars are also great for snacks during the day. A great punch of energy will be bars containing at least 5 grams of protein and fiber. But be careful though, you would not want to eat too much of these! It may cause you to feel full after.

 

Edamame

These soybean snacks are a great pick me up because they provide the right amount of nutrients, fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, and iron. Bathe your edamame in hot water for a few minutes and lightly salt them for great taste!

 

Hard-boiled Eggs

Eggs contain plenty of protein and B-Vitamins needed to promote energy. Hard-boiled eggs are easy to make and is perfect for the travel size.
