We all love junk food, right? Deep fried french fries with a cheeseburger, yum! I bet you’re looking at the picture to the left and getting a huge appetite! Unfortunately for us, junk food is some of the most unhealthy food we can eat. This obviously isn’t great, putting into consideration how delicious and succulent fast food is. There is some that are worse than others, which is good news because you don’t have to stop eating junk food all together. luckily now a days a lot of healthier food options have been made available for us like chipotle and waba grill. In this article I will list 4 unhealthy foods that should not be in your daily diet for obvious reasons.
Soda contains an insane amount of sugar, 10 teaspoons of sugar to be exact! This amount of sugar can cause your blood sugar to skyrocket in a matter of minutes. Because of this high sugar content, soda actually dehydrates your body quicker. Harvard recently did a study and have linked soda with obesity, 10 – 13 year olds who drink a soda a day almost double their risk of obesity!
Water, Coffee, Hot/Iced tea, Lemonade
Chocolate bars have the same problem as soda, the sugar content is extremely inflated and also leads to diabetes. Since chocolate naturally contains caffeine this can cause heartburn, inflammation and stomach ulcers.

Pizza! Everyone loves pizza, but unfortunately pizza is a really unhealthy food. It is full of oil, fat, salt, and calories. Pizzas also have a lot of different ingredients that aren’t supposed to be eaten together for example meat, cheese, and white flour. All of these ingredients require different digestive acids to dissolve, which doesn’t have a healthy outcome. The base of pizza is made out of flour which has a high glycemic index, meaning there will be a quick rise in your blood sugar levels. Now I like pizza as much as the next guy but cutting back on pizza consumption would benefit your health greatly.
Making a homemade pizza is the best option when craving pizza, because you have freedom to exchange ingredients for healthier options.
This includes all of your favorite fast food places! yes including McDonalds. Fast food burger places have no interested in making their food healthy at all. It is best to stay clear from junk food like this permanently. If you keep eating fast food let’s say once a week, you’ll still see the effects of it on your body. Fast food usually only has saturated fat, which increases your cholesterol.
Chipotle, waba grill, flame broiler, and pollo loco are all good substitutes.
